The Brazilian Court Hotel is a stalwart, historic figure in Palm Beach, Florida.
Several years ago, I spent about a week exploring various Palm Beach hotels, but only one of them really stuck with me. Ever since that initial South Florida trip, The Brazilian Court Hotel has occupied a small corner of my mind. But it’s not because it’s necessarily the most luxurious property in the area (the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach may take that title).
Instead, it’s the general atmosphere—the calming sound of the Florida breeze through the palm trees in the courtyard, the yellow stucco walls that act as a barrier to the outside world—and an imitable history that set the 80-key, Spanish Colonial-style property apart from its competitors. And this year, the hotel is celebrating its 100-year anniversary.
