This is my favorite spot to stay at in Palm Beach - bar none.
As described, old-world glamour in a Palm Beach-style, the Brazilian Court hotel occupies a Mediterranean style villa, complete with lushy landscaped courtyards, a beautiful pool, good service, an amazing restaurant on premise (Cafe Boulud), spa, gym and etc.
About three blocks from Worth Avenue and two blocks from the ocean, this is premium location and maximum pampering. This hotel accepts pets as well.
Although it rained this past weekend, I know the hotel can provide transportation to/from the beach. You can also rent bikes from the front desk. Beach goers will love this property.
The one thing I noticed was that there wasn’t a Nespresso machine in the room and, in my opinion, it would have added to my stay since I don’t like to be calling in room service for my espressos. Yes, I drink more than one a day. I think I noticed the same thing the last time I stayed there. Minor detail given the fact that everything else about this place is amazing ;)
Since this is my first getaway around the pandemic, I must say that I felt pretty comfortable and safe at the actual property. Staff were wearing masks but I wished they offered some type of sanitizer in the room.
Restaurants within walking distance from the hotel besides Cafe Boulud are: Buccan (a favorite), Bricktop’s (a favorite), Cafe Flora, Surfiside Dinner (breakfast), Leopard Lounge & Restaurant and Pizza Al Fresco. I also love Palm Beach Grill (a favorite), Restoration Hardware Rooftop Cafe (a favorite), Palm Beach Yacht Club and Sant Ambroeus (another favorite). Make reservations ahead of time. It is a must.
There are a many things to do in Palm Beach but I must have been to all the attractions already. I mostly go there to decompress from the city life, cycle, take long walks, enjoy the beach, the food and the vibe this privileged town has to offer.
Hope you get to stay at the Brazilian Court Hotel one day!
