Wine lovers will want to join Mariya on September 20th when she continues the Mediterranean summer sojourn by presenting the Wines of the Canary Islands. Home to some of the world’s most exotic, unique wines, the Canary Island chain, located just off the coast of North Africa, has diverse microclimates that impart a singular character to the grapes grown there – varieties no longer seen on mainland Spain. “Despite the southerly location of the archipelago, it benefits from an “Eternal Springtime” so the wines are fresh and vibrant,” said Mariya, A four-course pairing dinner will showcase wines made by the native Listán Blanco, Baboso, Listán Negro and Tintilla grapes. Executive Chef Jim Leiken and Pastry Chef Arnaud Chavigny will create an inspired tasting menu, and Mark Middlebrook of José Pastor Selections, will be the special guest. Reservations are required to the dinner, which begins at 7:00 PM, and costs $75 per person excluding tax and gratuity.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations are required. 72-hour advance cancellation to avoid 100% charge.
